The worst date that I ever went on was when I was 15. It was the first date that my parents ever let me go on by myself, and the guy, Brett, I thought was 17. It turned out that he was 20, and he spent most of the dates making uncomfortable comments about my body and eventually tried to stick his tongue down my throat. I faked sick so that he could take me home early and when my mom asked how it went, I just replied, “no comment.”
Since then, I have been very lucky with my dates. Perhaps if my first experience hadn’t been so negative, then that wouldn’t be the case.
