Mitch Murder releases a new album.

If you’ve ever come around a hazy Saturday night production meeting at Slickster HQ, there is a good chance you’ve heard Mitch Murder.  There is even a rumor that Slickster executive producer Nate has a little routine known as ‘Mitch Murder Mondays’.   That is when, bleary eyed and double grande coffee in hand, he pulls into the office with ‘Burning Chrome‘ raging on his cars’ speakers.   Of course, there is no actual confirmation of Mitch Murder Mondays…. or Chupacabra… or the freakin’ Abdominal Snowman either.

Selection 3 is a compilation of tracks released by Mitch Murder in 2014.

It has a good mixutre of awesome 80’s inspired electronic madness.  Paying homage to some of Mitch Murder’s favorite video games and television series as well, including Knight Rider, Lost Patrol, and Street Fighter II.

However, my favorite track included on Selection 3 is Ocean Avenue.  The saturated south beach Miami sound blends so well with spot on drum samples and catchy harmonies.  It’s just fucking perfect.  End of story.  Ocean Avenue was a special gift for Mitch Murder fans.  He released it as thank you for all his fans when he reached 10k on his Soundcloud page.  You can download Ocean Avenue for free here: https://soundcloud.com/daataa/mitch-murder-ocean-avenue-free-download.
