Nintendo NX means some change

Written y William G Chandler Jr., April 28th, 2016, 10:00 p.m.

If you visit Mynintendonews, a writer, sick r, indicates Nintendo will release the Nintendo NX console in March 2017. The mystery console will not make an appearance at this year’s E3. I look to Nintendo’s current console, wonder what their perspective will be with NX, and if Nintendo can change a little.

Nintendo NX Means Some Change?

New, in Nintendo’s world, is always good, but can give you a mix of experiences. Nintendo’s Virtual Boy is the 32-bit console in the company’s life cycle. It also carries a terrifying, crimson graphical presentation. The Nintendo Gamecube, with its optical discs, offered so much potential and delivered where it could.

Nintendo is always innovation; however, the Nintendo Wii U is a variety of highs and lows. First-party content, such as Nintendoland, Super Mario Maker, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, and Star Fox Zero, represent unique experiences and great fun for Nintendo fans.

Nintendo reissues content like The Legend of Zelda Windwaker, Twilight Princess, the Virtual Console, and third-party content, such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, to ignite nostalgia and the hardcore player in anyone.

The Wii U Gamepad innovates in form and uses while the MiiVerse presents a simple form of communication with a powerful purpose. Nintendo Wii U stands for overall individuality. This is both a good and bad thing for anything Nintendo does. Nintendo distances itself, historically, from everyone.

Similarly, Nintendo does not get simpler experiences on its console that can create a depth because of that distance. If another life cycle exists where Nintendo does not get a Street Fighter, or Mortal Kombat, experience on its console, it could be dangerous. Fighting games are not the center of the world. They do represent a mainstay on most consoles, even Nintendo’s past ones.

You can go to a store and get Dead or Alive, Tekken, Killer Instinct, or Mortal Kombat. You do not worry about what console you have. It is just software in your console’s lineup. Super Smash Brothers and Pokken Tournament are solid fighting titles, but not to everyone’s tastes all the time. There can be a variety of software annually.

The fact that this ideal is missing in Wii U’s generation is scary. In the Nintendo NX’s life cycle, I hope Nintendo simply has a strong combination of software. The best way to describe this experience is to present an example. Ubisoft’s Zombi U is a first of its kind in-depth and presentation on a home console. Dying Light, by Warner Home Video, and Games, carries its own experiences that could add depth to Nintendo’s lineup. The Call of Duty franchise is on Nintendo’s console.

However, games like Doom, Destiny, and Star Wars: Battlefront, in the same genre, present different experiences unavailable on Nintendo Wii U. All experiences on Nintendo’s console are unique. Not every experience has to be. That could change with Nintendo NX.

The presentation, difference, and delivery do not matter as long as the experiences shine. Simpler ones can hit the mark Nintendo. Let us know what you think will happen with the Nintendo NX in the comments section below.
