Taito’s Bubble Bobble was a major part of video game history during the 80s and 90s. It was popular on NEC’s Turbografx 16, the Nintendo Entertainment System, and a number of platforms.
Bubble Bobble was the most vocal in a line of standup arcade titles. Bubble Bobble was the first game you would see. The music stands out most. As a matter of fact, the game’s mechanics came next. You immerse yourself in a simple concept. Capture the enemy in a bubble, pop them, and get the loot.
You play Bub or Bob, men turned into dragons. They use their new transformations to take down various enemies and save their girlfriends from Baron Von Blubba.

After 10 years, Bubble Bobble makes its presence felt exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
Future Goals
Taito will release Bubble Bobble 4 Friends. Not to mention the fact, the game is based on a partnership between Strictly Limited Games and ININ Games.
Therefore, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends arrives in the first quarter of 2020, in North America. Europe receives its physical and digital copies on November 19, 2019.

Bubble Story
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends starts one night in a child’s room. Miraculous light overwhelms the safe space. Moreover, every object under its rays suddenly comes to life. This includes a child’s favorite toy, a little dragon named Bub.
Full of jealousy, the wicked magician Baron von Blubba challenges Bub to battle. This game does not take from the Rainbow Island series. Bubble Bobble 4 Friend looks like the original arcade title.

Uemura continues, “[Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be] the first internally developed title since Taito has re-entered the consumer market.”
