The origin of the “Leftover Women.” The term “Leftover Woman” was first coined in a report by the Chinese Women’s Federation in 2007 to describe young females in their late 20s who had not yet married. (In case you didn’t know – we didn’t.) These poor lasses are just itching to get hitched. With the ever-increasing population in China, and now especially with the one-and-done act having been overturned, if you’re not out for that one-of-a-kind “looking” gal, then China is the safest of bets.

5. Thailand
Much unlike the Dominican Republic, the “traditional” women of Thailand represent 70% of the higher educated populous. This, in turn, is good news for that American businessman in hopes of “shipping” a female over more on his level, education wise. With that in mind, traditional Thai women are much better for a good relationship, but are also much more difficult to meet. They often don’t, or barely, speak English, are more shy, and are working long hours, hence earning a number five spot on our list.

4. The Philippines
For all you cradle rockers out there, Filipinas are ripe for the picking. Filipinas are especially attracted to Caucasian features, so this average-looking guy would find he has suddenly been promoted to rock-star status as far as his dating options go. That, coupled with the fact that they are fluent in at least two languages, with English being one of them, the Philippines goes straight to number four on our list.

3. India
The women of India are in a curry to get out of there native country. Of all the rich G20 nations, India has been labelled the worst place to be a woman. Hence, the market for mail order brides is booming at the moment. With such high supply and limited demand, India is for the guy on a budget bringing it to number three on our list.

2. The Ukraine
Those looking for sheer beauty look no farther than the Ukraine. Reader’s Digest praising its population, the online magazine notes: “A visit to Kiev is truly awe-inducing and it’s almost hard to believe that women this beautiful even exist. And for anyone who thinks that beautiful women must be vapid as well, Ukrainian women are ready to disprove that theory.” Take one look at Ukrainian-born actress Mila Kunis and you will understand why the Ukraine holds strong at number two on our list

1. Colombia
Reaching the pinnacle number-one spot on our list is Colombia. The women of Colombia are known for their close-knit families and values to boot. Also, for having a more liberal point of view in regards to who they date helps. Which leaves the options open for the janitor or the executive looking for love afar. When someone talks of bringing something over from Colombia, usually a woman is the last thing we think of. From now on, these fine Colombian women should blow that thought away (no pun intended). For being the most well-rounded of the gaggle, Colombia takes number one on our list.
